BE ADVISED: In order to participate in the BCAIBWS Workshops, you must be FULLY VACCINATED. 

You will be required to show proof of vaccination and government issued photo ID at the time of registration. You can register in the hotel lobby between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Thursday January 27th or on Friday morning January 28th, at 7:00 a.m., registration, for the workshop, will take place in two locations: outside of the Tuscany Room, adjacent to the front lobby, and on Cordova Level, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the Cordova Level. Masks must always be worn.  In all public spaces, there are no exceptions.  In the meeting rooms, masks may only be removed, while eating or drinking, for short periods of time. The wristband, that you receive at registration, must remain on your wrist, until the end of the conference.  

HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Every staff member at the Pinnacle Harbourfront Hotel has been double-vaccinated.

All participants, workshop leaders, field representatives, and BCAIBWS Workshop Providers will be double-vaccinated.

Wristband and mask will be worn at all times. Hand sanitizer will be available in each meeting room.  Any time that a participant exits and then reenters a meeting room, hand sanitizer must be used. All meals and snacks will be individually packaged.

There will be a coffee/tea station in the Grand Foyer, on the Cordova Level, Level 2, and Level 3.  Participants are to pick up their snack and beverages and then return to their assigned meeting room. Tuscany Room participants will go to the Cordova Level. Please do not touch any item, unless you intend to eat it.

We removed the scheduled break, on Sunday, in order to accommodate travel plans, but the coffee/tea stations will still be available.

Meeting rooms will be cleaned nightly.

Participants will be seated at tables in groups of 2, 3, or 4 (maximum). Social distancing in effect.

With respect to your hotel room, when you are checking-in at the front desk, you may request not to have your room cleaned daily; to only have fresh towels and shampoo+ replenished, or to request a daily cleaning.

THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EVERYONE AT THE WORKSHOP IS THE PRIORITY!

While we are not involved in testing, the closest location is currently at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
